Job Description

A Lifeguard/FlowRider Instructor, is responsible for teaching and coaching guests of all ages and skill levels on how to ride the FlowRider, provide guidance on how to prevent injuries while using the attraction and provide a fun experience for all guests, while maintaining the highest level of customer service and professionalism.

Perform lifeguard surveillance of the pool area. Provide services for large groups, including children, monitoring both visually and audibly to ensure safety, facility rules, and health standards.

Duties and responsabilities:

  • Provide a safe and fun experience for all guests.
  • Teach and coach guests on how to ride the FlowRider, including proper body positioning, balance, and technique.
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the FlowRider, including daily cleaning and regular inspections.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address guest concerns or questions in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.

Lifeguard Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a FlowRider Instructor or similar role.
  • Knowledge of FlowRider operations and maintenance.
  • Lifeguard certification or willing to take it within 30 days of employment
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to swim and be comfortable in deep water.
  • Must be able to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time.
